Financial Reality Fair!

We marked Financial Literacy Month with an exciting Reality Fair at Stamford High School! Over 200 students from SHS and Westhill High Schools took part in a hands-on simulation, learning to budget, save, and make real-life financial choices. We were thrilled to welcome State Treasurer Erick Russell, who shared a powerful message on the importance of financial education for students.

Big thanks to our team, volunteers, and community partners for making it all happen!

Dont Tax My Credit Union

Don’t Tax My Credit Union:

Protect What Makes Us Different

As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, Members Credit Union reinvests earnings directly back into our members. That means lower loan rates, higher savings returns, and fewer fees — all to support your financial well-being.

This mission matters now more than ever. Credit unions like ours help people overcome financial stress and create real opportunities for long-term success. But proposed changes at the federal level could threaten the very foundation of the credit union movement, including our tax-exempt status.

Help us protect the future of your credit union by signing the national petition. Your support ensures we can continue uplifting communities and empowering members just like you.

Community Resources during Changing Times

At Members Credit Union, we care deeply about the well-being of our entire community, not just financially, but emotionally, too.

In times of uncertainty, having access to trustworthy support matters. That’s why we’re sharing a community resource page created by Building One Community, a local nonprofit organization that offers guidance and services for immigrants and their families.

Even if these resources aren’t for you directly, they might be helpful to someone you know—a neighbor, a friend, your babysitter, landscaper, or caregiver.

Because when one of us is supported, our whole community grows stronger.
